After a long days work, one would run to the nearest liquor store to grab a 1/2 pint of the cheapest gin available and drink it until the last drop is drank. Tired moments - let me not go there, but instead I find a safe haven in a little coffee house just around the block from my apartment. The coffee is some of the best brewed in town. The people are friendly and they give you permission to stay as long as you want with no cover charge. If the music was a little better, I'd be willing to pay to sit and let my mind flow.
I just finished another chapter of my book. I'm not saying that when I'm done with this book it's going to be a best seller, but I will say that it is truly hard work. My main character, Wayne has been through a lot these last two years. He's matured since I first developed this character. His attitude and outlook on life is constant - but he's really matured. Hopefully, we'll have a ending within the months to come.
Winter is here! The citizens of this city are packing in this coffee shop like a food stamp office on the first of the month. Are they giving these cups away for free - now that was just a random thought but I'm serious.
On a lighter note, I am laughing at the fact that it's forty-one degrees outside and these people (you know who I'm talking about) have on shorts and flip flops like it's the middle of July. The fugg you thinking. C'mon. Well can't save them all.
