Ball of Thoughts and Emotions!

Being completely stunned for a lack of better words is the only thing that describes my current mood. I can't believe that for all of these years I have been completely in the dark. But the good thing is, once you are out of the darkness, you are for ever in eternal light! One wise blogger once noted "mean what you say say what you mean and walk in your purpose."

I may not be the best man, I may not be the best friend, but I am the best person for the job! It is now 2013! I am so glad to be living and well in the new year! I left so many things in 2012 that it's unbelievable. A few people came into and left out of my life. Their loss! I do thank God for those that came in and that are breaking ground.

There are so many changes that I have to make to ensure my own tranquility. I will no longer tolerate or accept less than satisfactory. I will no longer worry about the norm. Worrying about the norm only makes me smaller than the person I am really supposed to be.

Let's live in a round of limitlessness! All things are possible, let's live laugh love in 2013!

Sam Cook recorded this old blues track in 1961. We were in a different time back then, but the realities of the lyrics are relevant even today. They were relevant in my life anyway. We connect to our artists by our emotions and experiences. Adele did a cover of the song on her album, 19. Her British accent and obvious sassy attitude gave the song flair and life. This song ministered to me because it gave direct insight on a situation that I was experiencing. I was in LOVE, by myself. There was an agreement to just, "be friends". In the song, there's a line that said, "if I can't have you the way I want you, I don't want you at all." So there it is. Throughout the relationship that I was in, there was a strong time strain. A bottle of emotion

I refuse to write yet another love story and be labeled as a writer with lovely thoughts about happiness a bliss. I would prefer to be that brother that writes of truth, the other side, the side less read or shall I say TALKED about because it is less desirable material. No fuck that. I can tell I lost a few of you with that last sentence - so let's try it again. I would prefer to keep it real with the ugly than MAC make-up the FACE you want to see. Or better yet, paint a picture of the most beautiful relic on God's green earth. I'm real whether directly or indirectly. Intelligence is earned, it is free and costs you nothing to obtain. GET SOME!
